About me

My name is Kelvin Thomson and I am the Federal Member for Wills. I was born in Coburg in 1955, joining the ALP in 1975, and have served in local, state and federal politics.

These days I also Chair the Parliament's Treaties Committee.

Favourite FIFA World Cup moment

1. Aloisi's decisive penalty score against Uruguay to send Socceroos through to first WC appearance in 32 yrs
2. 2-2 draw v. Croatia in '06 WC
3. 3rd leg WC qualifier v. Sth Korea, where Jimmy Mackay's long range screamer secured our 1st WC birth in 1974
