Surely we can come up with something better than a kangaroo! Nothing against Skippy and the mob but it's mind-numbingly obvious. I guess it's gotta be more friendly than fighting so maybe the redback and goanna are out. What about the echidna? Too spiny?

Why don't we go down into the Sydney 2000 vault, (I'm envisioning a Raiders of the Lost Ark style warehouse) locate the correct crate, crack it open, bring out the old FATSO the FATARSED WOMBAT, dust him off, slap a SOCCEROOS shirt on him and there we go!
