The Sunshine Coast Hinterland like Maleny and Montville and the Glass House Mountains. The views are awsome and you can see for miles to the beautiful coastline.

Melbourne - the place to be, Mt Dandenong; Sorrento; Phillips Island; Great Ocean Road; 12 Apostles. Australia is the place to be - superb country, great people, wonderful nature, unique animals, great food, safe country, excellent infrastructure!

So many places, the Daintree, the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru are nobrainers. But also Sydney Harbour (including the bridge) and Sydney Opera House, aswell as the Barossa Valley in South Australia and also the beaches and theme parks on the Gold Coast.

Go see Geelong, Geelong is a great laid back town on the way to Melbourne and has alot of highlights such as: The Waterfront, The Great Ocean Road, Bells Beach, Central Geelong and many more. A great town to escape to.

Tourists should see the Sydney Opera House because it is so unique and is a work of art. I think tourist would also the Great Barrier reef...this is also unique, especially since reefs are being destroyed. Australia has so many beaches, use them too!
